1. Introduction

Welcome to ScamSecurityCheck! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our web pages located at https://scamsecuritycheck.com ("Service"). Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of our Service and explains how we collect, safeguard, and disclose information that results from your use of our web pages. Your agreement with us includes these Terms and our Privacy Policy ("Agreements"). You acknowledge that you have read and understood Agreements, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with (or cannot comply with) Agreements, then you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service.

2. Communications

By creating an Account on our Service, you agree to subscribe to newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information we may send. However, you may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase, including your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information. You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct, and complete. We may employ the use of third-party services for the purpose of facilitating payment and the completion of Purchases. By submitting your information, you grant us the right to provide the information to these third parties subject to our Privacy Policy.

4. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are above the age of 18, and that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to the restriction of access to your computer and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any and all activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in our sole discretion.

5. Subscriptions

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription. At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or ScamSecurityCheck cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting ScamSecurityCheck customer support team.

6. Fee Changes

ScamSecurityCheck, in its sole discretion and at any time, may modify Subscription fees for the Subscriptions. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle. ScamSecurityCheck will provide you with a reasonable prior notice of any change in Subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your Subscription before such change becomes effective. Your continued use of the Service after the Subscription fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified Subscription fee amount.

7. Refunds & Cancellation

All purchases are final and non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused time.

8. Scam Detection Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Our scam detection tool provides informational analysis only. Results are NOT guaranteed to be accurate and should NOT be your sole basis for security decisions. We are not liable for any losses resulting from reliance on our analysis. Always exercise caution and verify suspicious messages through official channels. The tool uses pattern matching and heuristics which may produce false positives or false negatives. You should always use your own judgment and consult appropriate authorities when dealing with potential scams.

9. Content

Our Service allows you to submit messages for analysis. You are responsible for the Content that you submit, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness. By submitting Content for analysis, you represent and warrant that: (i) the Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other rights of any person or entity.

10. Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by ScamSecurityCheck. ScamSecurityCheck has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. We do not warrant the offerings of any of these entities/individuals or their websites.

11. Intellectual Property

Service, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ScamSecurityCheck and its licensors. Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of ScamSecurityCheck.

12. DMCA & Copyright Infringement

ScamSecurityCheck respects the intellectual property rights of others. It is our policy to respond to any claim that content posted on the Service infringes on the copyright or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.

User Obligations: You must not submit, upload, or transmit any content through the Service that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party. This includes images, text, documents, and any other material submitted for analysis.

Takedown Requests: If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that copyrighted work has been used on our Service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit your notice to us with the following information:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Service
• Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law

You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation, exploits or harms minors, or engages in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service. Additionally, you agree not to use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the Service for any unauthorized purpose.

14. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to upload, submit, or transmit any content that:

• Contains nudity or sexually explicit material
• Depicts violence, gore, or graphic content
• Contains hate speech or promotes discrimination
• Exploits or endangers minors in any way
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or malicious code
• Violates any applicable laws

We reserve the right to refuse service and terminate accounts that violate this policy.

15. Image Storage Policy

We do NOT store uploaded images. All images are:

• Processed in real-time for analysis
• Immediately discarded after analysis is complete
• Never saved to our servers or any third-party storage
• Never used for training or any other purpose

By using our AI Image Detector, you confirm that you have the right to upload the image and that it complies with our Acceptable Use Policy.

16. Third-Party Services & Attribution

Our Service uses the following third-party services to provide analysis features:

• Anthropic Claude API — Powers our AI image detection and scam text analysis
• Google Cloud Vision API — Powers our reverse image search feature, which checks whether uploaded images appear elsewhere online
• Stripe — Processes subscription payments securely
• Supabase — Provides authentication and account management

When you use our AI Image Detector, your uploaded image may be sent to Google Cloud services for reverse image search processing. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Cloud Platform Terms of Service and Google Cloud Privacy Notice.

These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

17. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend our Service, and any service or material we provide via the Service, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Service is unavailable at any time or for any period.

18. Amendments to Terms

We may amend Terms at any time by posting the amended terms on this site. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

19. Limitation of Liability

In accordance with the law, you agree to hold us and our officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damage, however it arises. Except as prohibited by law, if there is liability found on the part of the company, it will be limited to the amount paid for the products and/or services, and under no circumstances will there be consequential or punitive damages.

20. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

21. Disclaimer Of Warranty

THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY COMPANY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THEIR SERVICES, OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT OR MATERIALS INCLUDED THEREIN. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THESE SERVICES, THEIR CONTENT, AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED FROM US IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

22. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
